Emma Chamberlain, a genius entrepreneur and all around girl's girl, is a fan of ours and we of hers. Chamberlain has worn a variety of Saint Sintra looks.
In October of 2021, she was featured in Forbes. Posed in a hotel room at The Peninsula, Central Park South, Chamberlain appealed to a more serious audience. I had seen her videos on Tik Tok and Youtube and aspired to emulate her disaffection. Chamberlain chronicles her life as a young woman with big dreams and an zeven bigger house. She departs from typical influencers in tone and quality; she is neither prim nor proper and yet she exudes heroism. This pic of her by Griff and Jared Ellner encapsulates a moment of transition in her career, from professional youtube ranter to she-e-o coffee purveyor and marketing legend.
This wasn't the first time she wore Saint Sintra, though!
Here she is wearing the mini skirt that started it all. Originally based off a skirt we made for FW21, a collection that was never really offered for sale. That first skirt was very twee; we made another version of it for SS22. The pleated mini is legendary, stuff of dreams. The leather I had hoarded from a donation, and the charms I bought on eBay for another custom project I'd done earlier in the year. I hope Mary Quant saw it before she died.
We dressed Emma for an appearance on Fallon in June of 2022, right after she emcee'd the Met Gala and scored some major viral moments (love ya!). We didn't dress her for the Met Gala, though, to be clear.
We did however see her smile and wave to the camera in our iconic sash blouse!
This was her first ever talk show, too. Jared made a clever little knot and wrapped the sashes around her body. I love how strong the collar is, this top is powerful and flirty. She's not an actress but she plays one on youtube.
Emma Chamberlain, forever a Saint Sintra muse.
