Sagg Napoli in a MTM Mesh Tank
Share
Sagg Napoli appears in Hommegirls Issue No. 8, wearing a custom mesh tank by Saint Sintra, styled by Isabel Bonner. This collaboration merges heritage with modern design, creating a piece that feels both visually striking and deeply personal.
Saint Sintra looked to Napoli’s Italian roots for inspiration, incorporating subtle references to traditional motifs while maintaining a sleek, contemporary silhouette. The design process balanced historical influences with a refined, minimalist approach. The goal was to craft a garment that respects the past while seamlessly fitting into a modern wardrobe.
The tank was developed in Saint Sintra’s New York atelier using lightweight, breathable mesh, chosen for its versatility and understated elegance. Its semi-sheer fabric introduces movement and texture, making it ideal for layered styling. To enhance the garment’s detailing without overpowering its design, artisans meticulously hand-placed crystals, securing them with a heat press in the Saint Sintra studio. The result is a subtle shimmer that catches the light with every movement.
Every stage of development, from initial sketches to final execution, prioritized both form and function. The design ensures a balance between structure and comfort, making the tank as wearable as it is stylish.
Isabel Bonner’s styling showcases the tank’s adaptability, pairing it with complementary pieces that emphasize its fusion of tradition and modernity. The final look speaks to thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship, elevating Napoli’s natural presence while maintaining a sleek, editorial aesthetic.
This feature in Hommegirls Issue No. 8 highlights the power of fashion to connect heritage with contemporary innovation. More than just a garment, Saint Sintra’s custom mesh tank serves as a testament to storytelling through design, weaving historical influence into modern craftsmanship.
